Bollywood’s Salman Khan is now all set to venture into something never seen or heard before by the Bollywood biggies. We hear after launching ‘Being Human’ now he is all set to venture out into ‘Being Smart.’ However this time it is the smartphones sector and he is all set to compete in the mobile market. His new Android devices line-up would be below the ‘BeingSmart’ banner. As per a recent report, the Dabangg star already made some final deals with the Chinese manufacturer to make the ‘BeingSmart’ smartphones to cost less than Rs 20,000. The report on this matter goes on to state that the Bollywood’s superstars’ family members will directly hold shares in his new Smartphone venture. The report states “He’s currently building an operational management team to be headed by a professional with leadership stints at Samsung and Micromax, two top industry executives told ET.”
Salman’s ‘BeingSmart’ Android Smartphones less than Rs.20,000:
The new Android ‘BeingSmart’ smartphones may be put online for sale before hitting offline stores. They are also likely to be sold later at Sallu’s Being Human outlets. Being Human already has a clothing line and accessories with its royalties supporting the Being Human Foundation’s education and healthcare initiatives. Once into the mobile market Sallu’s smartphones will compete with the mid-budget phones like Oppo, Vivo, and Xiaomi. It looks like there is great scope for Salman’s mid-budget Android ‘BeingSmart’ smartphones as India is only third in line after China and the US.
Salman Khan has already made a mark for himself in the Bollywood Film Industry. He has a lot of die-hard fans. Not to mention the massive fanfare that Salman Khan has around the country and his prior initiative called ‘Being Human’. Apart from these Android rules the mobile operating system market to hit topping the charts in Q4 at 82 % from the total market. The Bollywood star had the idea to enter the mobile market a couple of years earlier. It is said that his issues with high royalty charges at that time made him back out of the project.
