2017 Toyota Corolla Altis to be launched in India on March 15

Toyota India has introduced many Toyota stamped products last year like Platinum Etios and Etios Liva facelift, Innova Crysta and Fortuner.  While the company is in plans to launch its luxury brand, Lexus in India soon, it is now heard that it is planning to launch Toyota Corolla Altis in India on March 15.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) is all set to launch its new version of the Corolla Altis sedan in India.  As per the reports, it has stated the date of launch to be on March 15.  The new facelifted version of the Corolla Altis is open for bookings in the country right now.

The card has made its debut into the global market exactly a year ago in the last March 2016.  The new Toyota Corolla Altis is all set to make its debut into the Indian market exactly a year after its global debut.

Though Toyota India has not made any official announcement regarding the launch of facelifted version of Toyota Corolla Altis, the reports stress that the launch will take place on March 15.  The bookings that were open at dealerships across the country suggest that the car is not so far way to hit the Indian market.

This new facelifted version of Corolla Altis comes with both interior and exterior changes.  The grille and the headlamp cluster that were integrated into this version of Corolla Altis give a wider look.

What to expect in New Corolla Altis?

The vehicle features LED headlamp clusters with LED light.  Coming to the rear of the new Altis, it gets LED tail lamps and a chrome garnish just above the number plate.

The new model is said to continue with the current 1.4-litre diesel engine and 1.8-litre petrol engine in India.  Coming to the side profile of the new Altis, it comes with door handles in chrome finish and is expected to sport 16-inch and 17-inch alloy wheels.

Inside the cabin, it could get a new center console with a larger 7-inch touchscreen, 4.2-inch multi-information display in the modified instrument console and a combination of black and beige color theme.

It is expected that the new Corolla Altis will be priced between Rs 13 lakh to Rs 18 lakh (ex-showroom).
